Why the Shadowsons hate Fatblobs
Exclusive interview with Vlad Zin Shadowson

Back in Illudak all the Shadowsons were "adopted" by a pair of Normans who could not get children themselves. They traveled around towns and kidnapped all the small babies they could find (and they found plenty). One day, by mistake, they took a Fatblob baby and they were spotted when the Fatblob started to scream - thinking it was snack time. Five Fatblobs caught old Pa Shadowson and hung him from the nearest tree. From then on Ma Shadowson raised us to hate and kill all the Fatties we met. As we grew up we started fighting Fatties, burning their houses (preferably with the Fatblobs still inside), poisoning their food and such things. On one of these raids the M.P.'s (Monster Police) started to circle in on us, so we had no other option but to head for the harbor where we stole a boat and set sail for this fabled Monster Island which we had heard so much about. So now we are doing what Ma Shadowson told us and are continuing to hunt down Fatblobs here.

I too had difficulties with the M.P.'s - it happened after I beat up the town guard and accidentally (honest it was an accident) set fire to the town council, that's the members, not the building. I could of gotten away with it, if the F.B.I. (Fat Blob Institution) hadn't grassed me up. Because of them I had to "borrow" a boat and set sail for Monster Island (I didn't even have time to get my thumb screws). After suffering such a fate at the hands of meddling Fatblobs, I became bitter and twisted, at least more bitter and twisted than I already was. It was then that I swore an blood-oath to see retribution done. Fatblobs are a disease that must be cleansed from our world.
