MONSTER ISLAND
VAULT
To learn about the Vault you will have to make camp upon a Sunken Graveyard. To enter it you will need a Curved Machete, Small Lock Pick, Large Lock Pick, Black Ball (or Swinging Ball, but it will be destroyed, leaving you with just a Black Ball), and an Ancient Silver Spike (which will be destroyed in the use), you also need 4 light sources and 145 AP's.
This is a place owned by the Fallen known as Vladdos Xi, obviously the place where he has been experimenting on making new creations, and where he has been making his hordes of undead, and the place is filled with hundreds and hundreds of undead of several kinds. Not a nice place, but someone has to try and destroy this place to prevent the hordes of undead to increase to much.

Hacking my way through the Sunken Graveyard I come upon the Vault. As I try to move the huge boulder baring the entrance it comes alive and I have to fight this guardian
Boggler 35 - 0
One chosen minion of one of the Fallen destroyed, hopefully several to go. Heading down the stairs I cast a Torchlight, nothing happen on the way down and I make it to the bottom and into a funerary chamber. The left side is lined with a row of crypts, and since such things tend to hold treasure I head there to find something which might aid the crusade. Opening the first one I am attacked by what was placed down there ages ago before I can even look inside for treasure

I head for another crypt and open it, and am attacked once more by another undead
Ghoul 48 - 12
Deciding that instead of opening each crypt and kill the Ghoul which seems to lie in each one I might as well search those I have already opened. inside I find 9 Yellow Baubles. As I am trying to find a place for these I feel something tugging on my leg, the detached arm of one of the Ghouls (-4 health), so I stomp it until it stops moving. In the far side of the wall I notice a small door, so I cast another Torchlight and move towards it. The door is locked, so I pull out my Small Lock Pick and set to work opening it. That done I open the door which lead into a small hallway which leads into a large room with tall white pillars, and arched roof and filled with cracked and gnawed bones, at the far wall is at least 100 giant burial urns. Taking a step back to decide on what the best plan would be to enter this room I bump into something
Ghoul 44 - 9
Deciding that I might as well just head into the room and see what I can find. I have taken only a few steps when I step into a hole and almost trip. Holes sometimes means treasure, even when it stink of rotten meat and death, or especially when it does, so I go down on my stomach and stick my hands into the hole, and does find something, so I pull it up, big mistake
Ghast 66 - 27
Looking around I find dozens of holes, each with the same stench, so most likely there is a Ghast down each, and no treasure after all. So instead of poking into each one I just head for the burial urns to see if they might hold some treasure. Lifting the lid of one of them with the tip of my sword, no creations inside, strange, but my light catches something and I stick my hand in and pull it out, a Broad Sword, nice. I hear a noise behind me a turn around to see another Ghoul coming towards me, so I attack
Ghoul 43 - 9
I almost decide to leave when I notice a door behind the urns and decide to investigate that instead. I cast another torchlight and start to work on it with my Large Lock pick, ker-chunk and it is open. Another small hallway, this one filled with strange symbols written in blood, it looks like a Jossie being torn apart by some undead. I almost get surprised looking at those drawing, almost
Ghast 53 - 14
The hallway leads into a large circular room with a well-polished marble floor with black veins running through it. At the center is an elaborate rune in which lies the mangled remains of a monster. Something bizarre has being going on. before I can investigate I notice a shadow from behind me and turn around and stand face to face with a re-animated dead Norman
WuJu Zombie 61 - 35 (Quaffing time, WLE 21)
Well, making it an undead must have taken away a lot of its fighting abilities. I step forward and fall into a grave shaft (-5 health), as I climb out I bump into something
Ghast 68 - 21 (WLE 25)
I find another door, this one with a very unusual lock, after pondering for some time I decide that the Black Ball will fit into the hole, so I use my Swinging Ball, which breaks apart, but at least I get my Black Ball back. The door opens into a small very clean room with a bared iron door in the opposite wall. As I head for the door. As I cross the room something rise from the floor, a ghostly form of what was once a female Jossie, it starts screaming and hacking away at it with my sword does seem to do any damage at all. It continues to scream and bloods start flowing freely from my nose (-11 health), even more screaming and now my ears start to bleed as well (-10 health). by now I decide I'm in very deep trouble, fortunately by then Fuvah decides to give me a bit of advice and help, he cloak me in silence and tell me to find my Ancient Silver Spike and stab the hag with it. So with nothing better to do I do this and the hag with the spike, the spirit starts to dissipate, at the same time my spike start to dissolve, great. I dig out a WLE and drink it (+19health). behind the door I just opened I find a Military pick, nice. I then head for the iron door once more, inside is a Skeletal Jossman, strange, I start to search for a way to open then door, while concentrating on this another undead has managed to sneak up on me
Ghoul 33 - 12
Everything on the door is rusted solid, so I just start to pull, and pull, and pull, and the door just comes right out the wall and crashed to the floor. inside the small cell is nothing but the Skeletal Jossie, no treasure or anything. Another undead has entered the room
Ghoul 34 - 11 (Quaffing a WLE 24)
Deciding that since the undead have chained the Skeletal Jossie it must be some kind of enemy, so I cut its chains, it jump right at me, over me and right into a Ghoul which it easily dispatch. It then head for the exit and I decide to follow, it cut a path right through all the undead on the way, leaving no fun for me, still I guess I've had my share of fight for one raid so I just follow it out. At the final exit into the sun the Boggler is ready for round 2, but it stand aside from the Jossie. once outside the Boggler seals the entrance once more, the Jossie places its hand on my shoulder and bless me (+55 health), it then turns around and sprint away. I just head out as well. I wonder what that bless will do, other than just heal me a bit. Ah well, lots of minions of one of the Fallen destroyed, and a bit of treasure as well, and hopefully an enemy of the Fallen freed to join the war.

Since you have just read the report above I shall not bore you with all the details as pretty much the same thing happened this time. Into the Sunken Graveyard she goes, hacking her way to the entrance to the Vault, where she fight the lesser Gargoyle

into the darkness, on the way down the stairs she light her Oil Lantern, all monsters should have one of these, very nice and very handy. She reaches the funerary chamber and can't resist have a look down one of the crypts, where she is attacked by one of the Carnivorous undead

Deciding not to bother going through every single Crypt killing all the Ghouls she just search one of those already open, and find 5 White Baubles. As she stands there admiring them something grabs her leg, a detached Ghoul arm (-4 health), she stomp it until it stop moving. As she kicks it away she notice a small door, heading there it turns out to be locked, so she pulls out her small lock picks and open it. Opening the door she head into a short hallway which lead to a large room filled with at least 100 giant burial urns, the floor is littered with cracked and gnawed bones. Each urn is covered with drawing of undead being tearing and devouring monster, all the undead look Ruk-like, very strange. Something attacks from behind
Ghoul 33 - 7
Moving towards the urns she step into a hole in the floor and crash to the floor (-3 health), looking around she finds the floor is filled with these holes. So thinking she might find some treasure she goes down to her belly and stick her hand down into the hole, and pull out something, just not treasure
Ghast 62 - 21
Realizing that the floor is filled with such holes, and that each hole likely hold a Ghast she decides to move to the urns instead. Lifting the lid of one she finds a pair of Blue Iron Gauntlets, as she stands and admire them she is attacked from behind

having dispatched yet another undead she finds a door behind the urns, which is locked, so out comes the Large Lock pick, and off comes the lock. The door leads in a long hallway with paintings of Loggerheads being torn apart and devoured by undead, looking at the pictures she is almost surprised by a hidden undead
Ghast 56 - 9
The hallway leads into a large circular room with a polished marble floor, in the center lies the remains of a Knolltir, with all sort of creature parts lying around it, some weird ritual must be going on. From the shadows charges a new undead

Not to impressive. As she takes a step forward she falls into a grave shaft (-6 health), and as she rises to leave she is attacked again
Ghast 61 - 9
Moving to the rear of the chamber she find another locked door, this one with a special lock, after spending some time figuring out how to open it she drops one of her Black Balls into the hole, and the door opens. opening the door it leads into a very clean room, with an iron door in the left side of the room, which she moves towards. Not even getting half through the room she is forced to her knee by the most horrible scream she has ever heard. Out of the floor rises a Screaming Spirit of what was once a Norman female, hacking at the spirit with her sword doesn't do anything. The spirit screams again and blood start to run from her nose (-12 health), the spirit continues to scream and now the bloods start to flow freely from her ears as well (-11 health). She is almost about to try and escape this place when Fuvah speaks to her and tell her how to defeat the spirit and that he will protect her with silence. So out comes the Ancient Silver Spike and goes into the spirit, which start to dissolve, and the spike start to melt. After a while she turn towards the door to see what this spirit might have been guarding, as she rises from the floor she notice a Dragonbone Sword lying behind the already opened door, but since she already have one she leaves it behind. heading towards the iron door she see a Skeletal Jossman chained to the wall, as she start to look for a way to open the door she is attacked from behind
Ghoul 53 - 7
Since there are no locks or anything she just start to pull at the door, and pull and pull and pull and the door comes off and crashes to the floor. The Skeletal Jossie is securely chained tot he wall, and it appears that it is looking at her. Deciding that it can do her no harm she examine the room and find it to be empty. As she turns around she comes face to face with another undead
Ghoul 39 - 9
Deciding that the Skeletal Jossie must be the enemy of these other undead she cut his chains and set him free. Without pause the Jossie jump her, and over her and right into a Ghoul, after destroyed it it 'winks' at her and start for the exit, with nothing better to do she follows him out. As they head for the surface the Skeletal Jossie destroy a minor horde of undead and heads, leg and arms fly in all directions. As they reach the exit the Boggler has put itself back together, but stand aside for Jossie, and her as well. Outside the Jossie turns towards her and place his hand on her should and bless her (+57 health), with that the Jossie turns and sprints towards the edge of the Sunken Graveyard, she decides to head out as well.
