MINE SHAFT
Raiding a Mine Shaft takes an U-33, 3 torches and 60 AP's, To get a chance of finding some extra treasure you will need a pick of some kind, Mining Pick (the Military Pick can't be used, despite what it says in the blurb). Once you clear a path through the cave in you will meet Rock Trolls, they are fairly tough, but with Deep Shadows or blinding Light you should not take to much damage, they carry some quite nice treasure.
Once these mines would supply this island with Gold, Silver and Copper, now they have been overrun by the hordes of the Fallen Ones. A few minor creations are guarding this mine and large parts of it has been collapsed to prevent the races from getting to the bottom of them. We have heard rumors that some more fearsome creations are lurking deeper down, but to get there you will need a Mining pick and to raid it several times. We have fond no grand treasures from this place yet, but a few Zoingo Coins and Nuggets, but we do not raid these places for the treasure alone, we raid them to destroy as many creations as possible in our crusade to stop the Fallen Ones.
AHH! We have now broken through the cave in and have now started to destroy the Rock Troll tribe living down there, and with the power of Fuvah protecting us from most of the damage dealt by these creations it should be no problem wiping them all out.

Jumping across the stream, and almost into a hole, and what lives down there

Poking around the hole he finds a Gold Nugget, then moves on to smash some more rocks from that slide, smash a rock, and he is through, at long last. Moving along to see what is behind the slide he almost miss the 10 Copper Ingots and a Gold Ring (Ring of Health). the floor holds hundreds of huge foot prints, following them he runs right into a tribe of Rock Trolls, one of them decides to attack him, these are some serious creations, and most are equipped with some quite nasty weapons. he is equipped with a Grasping Scourge, Hand Catapult, Iron Shield, Gator Armour and a Brass Amulet
Glorkn (He cast Armour, AA cast Deep Shadows) 55 - 2/ 71 - 46
Stripping the troll of anything that looks useful he takes a Gator Armour, a Grasping Scourge, an Iron Shield, a Brass Amulet and 13 OC's, and leaves the Hand Catapult and 6 Small Round Rocks behind (wonder why they carry these since you don't use missile weapons down a Mine Shaft). Time to scram before the rest of the Tribe notice. They can take a bit of damage those trolls, and dish out a bit as well, fortunately Fuvah has supplied us with a spell to avoid most of it, praise be the Omniscient one.

Down to see if you can go straight to smash some Rock Troll heads or if you have to fight your way through the other creations first. After wandering through the empty mine for a very long time he eventually come upon the Rock Trolls, and one of them equipped with Troll hammer, Hand Catapult, Red iron Shield, Gator Armour, Pig Iron Gauntlets and a Brass Amulet attacks

As Dung starts to call out for the rest of the tribe Artemis has no other option than to run for the entrance at top speed, hoping that the Trolls will not follow him outside. They don't.

Into the darkness to hunt some Mine Trolls, through the now very devoid shaft, through what used to be a cave in and into the chamber filled with Rock Trolls. Bung seem to be busy somewhere else licking his wounds, so another Trolls rushes in for some easy kill, and perhaps a good snack, this one is equipped with a Grasping Scourge, Sling, Red iron Shield, Gator Armour, Pig Iron Greaves and a Brass Amulet

Again Artemis fail to kill the Troll and is forced to flee once more. blasted tough Trolls, still it could be worse if we didn't have the Deep Shadow Spell. I wonder what religion these Mine Trolls are since they can cast spells.
